>I have a line on a '79 Jaguar XJ6L that is in really good condition.
Inch - there is a VERY valuable resource available for these cars
at
http://www.jag-lovers.org/xjlovers/
Click on links such as "FAQs" and "Buy/Sell info" to get very
good, detailed information about choosing and buying one of
these. Any Jaguar purchase is not to be taken lightly, and there
are certainly many caveats to consider when looking at a 20+
year-old XJ. The email list for these cars is, well, incredible
(much the way that shop-talk is...)
I don't have a model like your considering; mine's a '88 XJ6
(actually a XJ40)... but the help I get from the jag-lovers
people is without equal.
