 If you're on 24" centers you can probably bend the pipe in between two
studs.  On 16" centers you might wind up notching an adjacent stud to
get a little extra room.

 It's easiest to start in the middle of the wall and go both ways, at
least for me.  You probably wanted a tee there anyway.  <grin>

 I guess I use my rags until they're pretty nasty.  They tend to leave
scum in the washer, which annoys my wife.  That's why I was wishing for
another washer.

 I also have paper towel racks here and there.  I bought a bunch of the
cheap plastic ones, because that's the only $*#*@ thing for sale around
here.  They either drop the roll or break right off if you try to pull a
towel off one-handed.  I'll probably wind up making some from strap iron
and electrical conduit.
