My friends and family complain that ALL I ever want are truck parts. I tell
them, that's what makes me happy. Then they buy me a dumb shirt anyway...

Thanks. The DPO of my '54 put aluminum wheels on it and I want wheels that
look somewhat original so I can use the '54 hubcaps with the bow tie.
My wife and daughters complain about never knowing what to get me for Xmas
and birthday. I tell them, "wait just a minute, I have list complete with
part numbers and a toll free number."

Virtually all the vendors carry them. They are very inexpensive, so I
recommend buying plenty in case they break during installation.

The wheel looks good. Where did you get the clips?

Doug, if all else fails, you can do what I did for my '50 3600. I had split
rims and didn't want them, but did want the stock style hubcaps. So I went
to the local junkyard and bought a set of Ford rims, which fit perfectly,
and mounted the clips myself. You can find my article about installing
clips at http://www.laroke.com/larryk4674/smokey_culver/hubcaps.htm

I've got three stock wheels for my 1956 Chev. These have three riveted
inside clips for hubcaps, with four small nubs around inside portion of
outer rim. Looking for a couple more, preferably in Northern CA? Thanks.
