if you clean out the crud under the nut, washer and horn ring assembly that you removed-right? you will find several holes. 2 of which are threaded. they go in puller and it presses on steering shaft. you do have a shop manual-right? if not-go buy one on ebay or google one. best $25 you will ever spend.
