I had a bad experience with the Vintage Air Sure Fit many years ago. I
was helping a friend install on his 56 F100 and it surely fit something
but not that truck. The instructions were a mess too. He gave up and
sent the whole mess back. I think he ended up going with the Old Air
Hurricane unit but I wasn't involved in that install.
I remember saying at the time that I would never consider a VA unit for
my 57 chevy pickup because of the poor instructions.
