I have a 350 Chevy engineand 350 turbo transmission thats been put into mu
1955 Chevy truck. The Small block engine was rebuilt by a person who rebuilds
engines. .I driven it about 4,000 miles . Iven ever really let the oil get
dirty . On the front side lower on the engine there is about a 1 1/2" cocave
like plug (Im thinking these are maybe freeze plugs --correctme if Im wrong)
The plug has turned black . I wiped my rag on it and it has a black oily
discharge . The rest of my engine still has the nice orange engine paint on it.
Is this a sign of something gone bad. Another problem Ive got is that my
radiator fluid sits low in the radiator . If you fill it it eventually leaks
outthe overflow until about 1/3 of a gallon is gone. Any help would be
appreciated
