Well Tim It can be done considering the threads were free when the bolt
broke. Don't try to freehand the small holes,make a bushing. In your case I
make a bushing out of a wood dowel so I can drill it up as I go up in drill
sizes which is at least 5/16'' well centered. Then try 3/8 LH drill which
will sometimes catch bring the stub out or use an EZ out. Sometimes you have
to grind down the drive end on the EZ out to fit a small 8 pint socket, or
weld on an extension.
