did you bench bleed the master?
do you have a proportioning valve in the system?
do you have a residual valve in teh system?
yes-both are mandatory.
stock masters had those 2 things built into the master. when you get to
the modern stuff-those valves were outside teh master. on 70-ABS brake
systems you will see a 'block' that all brake lines go to. this is
called a combo valve. it has a front-rear proportioning valve, a
residual check valve, and usually a brake warning light
connection(sensing brake fluid) all built into the one block.
each one is specific to the vehicle it was designed for-trucks have
more front bias, rear-heavey cars have more rear bias.. etc...
for a AD or TF truck a 73-81 camaro combo valve gives a great ratio and
setup.
