I think you need to rethink your whole idea. The old trucks with their gas
tank in the cab was bad enough, but at least the filler cap was outside of the
truck. You would still get gas fumes inside. It doesn't matter what cap you
use, it is going to vent some fumes of gas. If you have this inside of your
panel, you are going to make your self sick, and be riding in a time bomb.
Try to find a way to redo your idea, to get the filler neck outside of the
truck.
