yep wayne-ive seen quite a few 1-ton AD trucks that have 9foot bed-in fact
thats how i recognize them.
want a pic or two?
and as you know-the panels only came in either 1/2t or 1t and the bed length
they called them as a 6foot or a 9foot when they talk about the cargo area.
in fact, i wouldnt know a 1-ton unless it had a 9' bed on it.

Guess the system had problems with a paste I did..
I had a guy who emailed with a most unusual dilemma, seems he owns a 50
3800 1 ton truck with a standard 9 ft truck bed on it. He's often been told
he has obviously extended a 7 ft bed from a 3/4 ton but nuh uhh...
I didn't realize these exist but found on Deves web site
http://www.speedprint.com/Deves50/historydesign.php
they did offer 3 models a 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ton with cargo boxes. Has many of
these particular trucks been seen by list members? I've asked him to
forward me a photo it. I may have my TF blinders on and just misinformed on
the subject. --wayne
