[oletrucks] altenators polished?

I am looking at alternators and want a shiny 100 amp one and my dad
says the $99 chrome 100amp ones will burn out on me real quick B/C the
chrome plating acts like a blanket and holds the heat in and that I
should get a polished aluminum one
Has any one dealt with this?
and the best price I could find for a 100 amp polished was $119 has
anyone seen a better deal?
