While installing wheel cylinders on all drums (Huck type), I am unable to
figure out how the parking brake linkage coming thru the backing plate on the
rears connects to the shoes to make the parking brake work. The end of the
linkage has what appears to be a "bicycle chain link."

The restoration book and the shop manual I have only say the parking brake is
there, but no illustration or description. It is possible that the previous
owner, my farmer uncle, allowed a modification to save money but I do not know
how to recognize if the was a change.

Any assistance from the experienced and knowledgeable will be greatly
appreciated.
