Thank you! Just so I'm sure that I understand, the flat brace mounts on the
'inside' of the bed side or on the top of the bed side angle - horizontally to
tie the two angle braces together. So, the flat brace is visible and the angle
iron brace is not visible?

Jim, the flat one on my 53 gmc goes inside the top of the bedside side to
side like you say but i have an additional brace of angle iron that goes under
the bed .3 bplts to the bedside and 3 bolts thru the bed wood using 2 bedstrip
holes and the need to drill the third into the strip and wood, just to help
support the weight of the weel.....steve
