I went Saturday and found a 1975 Camaro Rear end.

It isn't much to look at but it is all there. Brake drums, brake parts and
emergency brake cables. He even threw in an old 15" rim and bald tire. I
need another tire and rim so I can roll it around easier. I actually will
need 4, 5 lugs rims before long to roll the entire truck around on.
The ridges on the brake drum that i have, do they act as heat sincs? Any
fellas with a camaro rearend that is close to this model did your drums have
ridges also?
I got it for 125.00, i thought originally it was going to be 150.00. I am
glad they took it off, there was a lot of mud to deal with. I will go back
to that same yard when I work on the steering.
If I was sure what kind of steering cloumn to get that will work with the
straight axel, I would have gotten it there. I think I need a column from an
old Chevy van, that will keep the key in the dash.
Thanks again fellas, ya'll are a great help.
Have a good week,
Tom
