On a similar note, the passenger door on my 54 pickup has always been
loose and rattles quite a bit. I've tried adjusting the latch and
striker, as well as the hinges, and added extra weatherstripping, but I
think the problem is just that it doesn't fit right. The PO (AZ
department of agriculture) put a bit of a dent in the cab behind the
passenger door when installing the side-mounted spare tire, and I think
that's what's doing it. I don't trust myself to do body work like
that, so I want to take it to a shop. What should I look for in a good
body shop -- or can Colorado folks recommend anyone? What should I
expect to pay for something like this? The dent isn't huge, it's about
2" wide, 14" tall, and maybe 1/2" deep in the middle.
