Hi All,
I'm pre-assembling my 50 GMC prior to finishing body work, paint, etc. As a
frame up project, the truck came apart without any specific disassembly
procedure or sequence. I've used the Chevy assembly manual which doesn't
include GMC specifics but has been one of my bibles on this project. I'm
wondering if I'm using the manual to it's full potential. For example, I
heard that the inner fender wheels should be assembled to the front fenders
prior to installation on the truck. It worked like a champ! Tips like that
are GREAT. Is there a correct assembly procedure that will ease the job of
re-assembly. Am I missing the proper use of the manual? Any words of wisdom
out there?
