I don't think we should have just one judge as the design will reflect just
your personal opinions as you stated-and would be very one sided. Seems
we've got a lot of idea--just not the logistics to go with it. If we're
gonna have a logo--you'll only have "one" logo not 3 or 10.
We went through all this when the present logo was developed just a lot of
the newer members don't know and want to interject their ideas--nothing
wrong with that but it goes a lot further that just ideas.. Transfers
could be created-I personally have never had one look good after 15 or so
washings, they crack when fabric is stretched. Screen printing is the only
way for longevity.
If screen printing are done--whos gonna volunteer to put up the funds to
have 'em printed and have the color separations done, set up fees and the
list goes on and on if this is gonna be done correctly or we can half ass it...
So do we have any volunteers to up front this kind of monies????? Who
knows a printing business that would do it? Who wants to be the gatekeeper
of all this?
I personally think we're blowing this way out of what it needs to be-the
list already has a logo but guess the majority wants to change so I'm up
for the change. Maybe time for Miq to step in and put his thoughts and it
is HIS list and we must not forget that. I know his admin functions stay
pretty busy and he may not want to get involved.
So now ya'll have all done the talking--time to doing the
walking..... Since chevytrucks.org came from the list--best place I know
to put all the logos up for voting. --wayne
