I want to say no, because I understand the primary purpose of the fan clutch
is to reduce engine load when the fan isn't required, but my gut says I
don't know enough about your truck to try to answer your question.
What's the truck? What's your motor and transmission? Do I guess right
from you email address that you're in New Mexico? Climate could be part of
the answer...
I guess my answer is worthless, but I wanted to help!

Subject: [oletrucks] Fan Clutch.. Do I need one?
HI All,
I'm trying to figure out if I need a fan clutch or not.
Are they necessary? If so, why?
Thanks a lot
