Does anyone know of a book that explains how to remove the dash from a 1997
S-10? My truck has a knocking noise coming from the passenger side front. I
had a front end man look at the truck and he says eveything is in tact and
is tight. He put a screw driver up in the shock and said it seems to be good
also, although he didn't take it off to see. The computer would have to be
removed to replace the shock and since he was looking at it on his lunch
break at no charge he didn't remove the shock. He said he didn't think it
was the shock though. It kinda sounds like someone left a wrench or
something in the dash while they were working on the heater or something.
Any help and advice would be appreciated.
