Mike, thought wrecker would be neat, not if rusty too. Yeah, sometimes the
finds" aren't that good if been buried for years. Most everything will need
replaced or fixed. Not worth messing with my opinion. I've dragged home too
many AD's thinking I could fix/part, have now ended up cutting up to junk.
Someone was looking for Big truck fenders from that era on one of my lists
but think it was for COEs. Those won't help for that. Can you pull gauges
cluster out? Any good? Might be worth having for someone.
You sure that "sniper" wasn't using it for target practice? Bad....bad...

Any interest in a '46 COE 1-1/2 ton with a Holmes 515 Twin Boom Wrecker? The
truck is mostly there....the drivers door is off and the sheet metal is
ROUGH,
even the wrecker body has bad rust through. It has been in the woods for
10-15 years. The heavy iron is all still there and could be used, even the
air cleaner is still in place. It needs to go or it will be crushed.....

I can get pictures later in the week if someone is interested.

The truck is located in southern Maryland about 40 SE of Wash, DC.
