Actually, Patrick has internal GMC engine parts but doesn't carry the covers
and neither does Chevy's of the 40's. A lot of suppliers carry stuff for
Chevy inliners but not the less common GMC's; which, unfortunately for us
GMC owners, have different valve and side cover mounting hole patterns. I
believe the oil pan, and for sure the flywheel cover, are also different
patterns.

True for "repro" stuff; he's trying to keep some business going & sells that
stuff on *bay a lot. I was referring him more for NOS things (I know he
sold several GMC 302 NOS blocks-one even to a fellow list member). Those
kind of items aren't available often & can command a high price, but that
would be true wherever you might find them, if you could. The GMC engine
racing parts stuff that Grant is looking for may be more readily available
from Patrick's or Chev's of the 40's, anyway.
