I took 2 leaves out of each of the front springs (mine had 8 - was heavy duty) 
on my 57 GMC 1/2 ton.  It brought the front down about 1.5".

Hey guys I want to lower my stock 55 second series.

Well, by stock, I mean the suspension..4 leaf springs around the truck.

I was wondering how I can lower thet ruck without spending much money.

Can I remove leaf springs or something like that?
