If had to attend 1 show, it would be the New Lothrop show on the 18th of
this month. As for who does good work...regarding mechanical, body and
paint, upholstery, ???. There are other members I'm sure from the area who
may have some input. Or others who can tell what to avoid, for sure. In my
area there are a couple two or three shops who are high end. They produce
award winning vehicles, restos or full on customs/rods. Hand over your
checkbook. Try word of mouth in your place, maybe somebody at work, in the
neighborhood, whatever. But check them out! See work they have done. Were
the previous customers satisfied? Would they return there again? Check out
the cruises and ask...there are no dumb questions. Asking and doing your own
research is cheap enough. The hard part is when the ol' billfold opens....
