I don't want to get all bogged down in this I am attaching a copy of what I
sent to Bob In Phoenix
I am available sometimes to move trucks but more importantly I can post any
truck that you might have to move as a load to hundreds of trucking companies
looking to fill out a trailer most will require that the truck be able to
roll so it doesn't tear up their trailer floor but we have found that these
old trucks roll on and off of a semi trailer with relative ease with the
added use of a flat bed wrecker
You may choose to save this post for further reference if you need to move a
truck or other large parts
Bob find out if
1. a semi truck can get close to the truck (some areas around there have
restrictions on truck size) But I sometimes have the wrecker meet me at a
shopping center close by
2. If the owner has a way to load it on a truck (I prefer to use a flatbed
wrecker to load and off load the trucks from my truck)
If you choose to do this let me know and I can post the load on several
Internet sites and try to move the truck as a partial load just make sure
everything fits into the truck ie.fenders hood grille so you don't take up
more then about 18 feet of trailer.
Personally I will not be out that way until June again but i will be willing
to help you locate space on a truck heading your way
I would expect to pay $200 - $300 plus the cost of the wrecker at both ends
