I guess you are right about the motor mount being two parts and the one
from Chevy Duty is just the rubber part. Do you have your old front
mount. I must of used my old metal front mount as a template and used
the new rubber part and the shield that they sell. The two holes are
actually centered both front to back and left to right on the curved
plate below the pulley. If you don't have an old 216 mount try Heavy
Chevy or Jim Carter for a used one. Nothing can really go wrong with
the metal part, just use the new rubber insert. Or just get a used
complete 216 metal engine part that goes behind the pulley and timing
gear. (I don't know what that is called). I am pretty sure that it fits
right on a 235 engine.
