If I remember right from my navy aircraft maintenance days, Murphy's law is "Anything that can be installed wrong, will be". It's a corollary that states "Anything that can go wrong, will". Murphy was an engineer at Boeing in Seattle. And believe me, a determined sailor can make a square peg go into a round hole!
