Alfie,

Use Mequires plastic polish. It's a product developed
for use on plexiglass windshields used on boats.
Years ago I owned a 1962 Rinell runabout with a
plexiglass windshield and it was so cloudy I couldn't
see through it, especially when the sun reflected on
the surface. I spend about 30min. polishing both
sides of it with this stuff and it looked almost brand
new. I repeated this a couple more times in the next
few weeks and it seemed to improve with every
application. Saved me several hundred bucks by not
having to replace the windshield.

It's available at most auto parts stores or marine
supply stores.

Good luck.

Byron

P.S. I'm going to be doing the same thing to the
center section of the windshield on my current boat.
It's the only part that is made of plexiglass. It's
also cloudy and hard to see out of.
