Hi all:
Two more sightings for you:
Centre, Alabama: Right on the main drag through town (U.S. 411) there is
Southern Star towing on the east end of town (inside the bypass but west of
downtown). They have a light blue GMC with no bed. Looks like a fairly
long frame and maybe a 2 ton or a 3 ton. Grille was painted not chrome.
Not sure if it's for sale or not. It is sitting out front like it might be
for sale.
White, Georgia: This one has been there for as long as I can remember.
>From I-75 get off at Exit 293 and go north on U.S. 411. It is a few miles
north of white on the left hand side next to Morgan Truck Bodies. It is
another GMC with no bed, long frame and maybe a 2 ton or 3 ton. This one
has a chrome grille. It is proudly displayed out front like it might be for
sale but there's no sign on it. Also, just as you come into White, there is
Old Car City. He has a lot of 40's, 50's, and 60's wrecks and assorted rust
buckets. I've never stopped by but I hear he's a little on the high side
price-wise. Looks like a good place to browse though if you've already made
the trip. There is an AD series panel truck that is used for a
Birthday/Anniversary/Get Well Soon spray painted billboard out front.
Hope these help!
