As I take my 58 stepside apart I am noting the few
places I have rust through and wanting to replace.

I have removed the wood bed and separated the
bed from the frame. I am now separating the bed
fenders from the front panel and inside bed panels.

I know I have to replace the front panel so....

1) Who makes the closest to original front bed
panel for my 58 stepside bed? non emblem style

2) The side panels are fine except for the angle where
you mount the flooring. Is there a replacement angle
for this or must I replace the entire panel??
Besides using a stock steel angle from my metals
supply shop, I'd like not to have to drill holes just
remove and reweld new angle.
If an angle is available where?

3) Cab corners rear are OK but I'd probably like to
replace. Who makes the best grade of these?

Chevy duty seems high for the bed panels pg 12-15 cat#24
and has the decorative angles / floor strips pg 9-10 cat#24

Any suggestions?

Does anyone have either detailed drawings for bed assembly
or detailed photos?? Primarily the exact locations for bed sills
and board widths.

Thanks all

Pete
