If it is really a one wire alternator you only hook up
the one (post) wire. The other connections are not needed.
That's how it works on mine.

In hooking up a one wire alternator.....the post goes to the battery, but
how should the ( - - )'s be hooked up? Some say hook 'em together...some
say to the ignition....what's the correct plan?
