Be sure to leave battery covered.  Hopefully it is still under the floor 
board.  I forget what year you said that you have.  Jump directly to hot wire 
on starter and ground to engine.  Then get one jumper clip off as fast as she 
fires up.  This has worked for me.  I also charge battery in the same manner.
