OK, after several attempts I have been unable to find anyone to do the body
work and paint on my '49 -3600. So here I go. I've disassembled the beast
and am ready but (sounds stupid) I'm not sure how to start. Parts have little
surface rust but the old paint is almost unidentifable. Should I first
sandblast or just start sanding? When sanding, should I use an electric
sander (disc or orbital) or should I go with a air powered sander (disc or
orbital)? I love this sight because I can't see or hear any of you laughing
at me right now.
