If you're talking about 1946 vs. 1947 first series, only the VIN tells the
story. The later '47s were, of course, the first of the Advance Design
series. I've heard stories about some plants producing both models at the
same. They must have been using up old parts in inventory. That must have
been a parts department nightmare later on..
