The leaf spring hangers are riveted to the frame. If you remove (drill
out ) the rivets, then when you put new (or better condition used) hangers
on, you will want to use grade 8 hardware to replace the rivets (unless
anyone on the list knows of a way to safely reinstall factory-like rivets
with the same holding force as the originals).
