Bob,
How is your Burb going?
I can tell what mine look like. However the truck color was black. Both
the mirror arm and the grill panel were black. Not to much help but is it
some info from an unpainted original. I also pulled an original panel for
the support arms - it came from green truck and it was painted black.
did this help at all.....

Subject: [oletrucks] 46 colors
Hi everyone!
I'm trying to do factory authentic colors on a 46 half ton chevy Bo'sun Blue
with black fenders. what color is the door hinge mounted mirror arm? Black
or blue? I'm thinking at the factory the door is mounted before painting,
so
maybe the mirror arm was run thru the hinge pin before paint, making it body
color. Also what color is the lower panel between the bumper brackets,
below the grille? I just painted it blue.
