Got the rear springs off to replace the shackles and eye bolts.
A local shop will replace the spring mounted bushings and sleeves for
$6.00 a piece; worth it to me to avoid the aggravation, especially since
the PO let all these go to trash.
The frame mounted bushings are another matter, they are wallowed out
bad, but do not appear to have distorted the mount itself.
Pressing these out is out of the question due to the amount of
distortion.
Is it practical to grind off the mounting rivets, remove the
brackets/mounts, have the bushings replaced and then reinstall using
Grade 8 hardware.
I could use some advice.
Thanks all.
