and/or fiberglass and spot weld the metal. structurally the material will then
hold it all together. coatings are made in the interior of the tank and then on
the outside. all coatings are cured in a oven. i have both a 41 chevy pu and a
41 plymouth pu. the chevy is in good shape and i am doing a frame off on the
ply. it is the one with the bad tank. if anyone knows of a service which
repairs gas tanks by welding only-so it would stay closer to original i would
appreciate a shout-thanks again for your info greg--
