I have more ideas i want to air. the rear axle I have has the spring
perches not welded on the axle, so the width of the 3100 in the rear is
not a concern. what I'm really asking "I guess" is the wall thickness of
the 3100 different than the 3600? Also, If the 3600 comes in a short
bed, are they possibly the same frame as the 3100's. the reason I ask is
I have the "how to restore your Chevrolet Pickup book" and the napco
frame they show looks
"Identical" to mine except the overload springs. If anybody has this
book its on page 102.
It says in the caption "3/4 ton chassis". ???
