Paul, I roamed around the junkyard, probably measured about 50 shafts until I
found one from an 80's
Oldsmobile station wagon that fit "as-is". I found that most sedan drive
shafts from the 80's will
generally be too short, and I found that a 70-72 Chevelle was about 1/2" too
long. I bought my Olds
drive shaft for $10 and just went to the LAPD (local auto parts dealer) for new
u-joints.
