This is another question that came up during rebuilding my brakes. I have
separated them into two notes, because in previous groups sometimes the
second question is skipped... If that is not a problem with group, I
appologize!
I will be replacing the brake lines on my 54. The originals are really
tiny (should be fun finding a flare tool for those)! I was considering
replacing them with larger diameter lines but I also read somewhere that if
you do that, it actually reduces the pressure in the system. I am planning
on using the original drum brakes for the time being, but in the future may
move to disk. I would also like to replace the master cylinder with a
dual/power unit, if that affects the decision... What are your experiences
or opinions on this change?
