I usually fill in the gaps with a seam sealer   a tube costs about $10 but they
go a long way   when it sets up it is hard but sandable    you don't want to
ever fill seams or holes with bondo because it draws moisture and after a couple
years you will see every bit of what you were trying to hide

argon is the way to go   if you compare straight CO2 to argon mix you see a big
difference!    for as long as a tank lasts the cost difference isn't that
noticeable
