This coming weekend is the Portland Swapmeet, reputed to be the largest one
on the west coast. I starts on Friday and continues through Sunday.
I plan on being there for a couple or six hours on Friday morning as soon
as the gates open. If other oletruckers are going to be there, send me an
email, and I'll let you have my cell phone so we can try and meet up.
This is the 36th year of the Portland Expo swapmeet, there is always
something interesting to find, so bring your check books and cold hard cash
(or don't! if you can't resist a good deal). The Expo is up at the north
end of Portland, right at the Columbia river (formerly called Vanport),
exit number 308, just follow the brown signs and the huge crowds.
