John, You have my condolences! Heal quick!
I was thinking about telling one of my own, while reading of Grant's "rite
of passage". I then followed the link to the website listed by Grant
below. I'm still half blind from the tears, my sinuses are running heavily,
and I can't seem to quit coughing. I've strained muscles in my chest, and
my wife is really upset that my convulsions of laughter interrupted her
beauty sleep. I think the chair leg can be repaired, but the dog, who was
sleeping soundly next to me when the chair collapsed might need a trip to
the vet. His yelping from under the couch in the other room does not sound
good. I hear the kids coming down the stairs to investigate, so I won't
write my own. I'll just stop here, and tell you that Grant's link is worth
the trip. Let me go do some damage control...
