If it's a Chevy, they made the following in '53:
4000 series (1-1/2 ton) Standard Cab
5000 series (2 ton) Cab Over
6000 series (2 ton) Standard Cab
The 4 ton must be the winch rating.
Is this a factory built unit or Home Made? Holmes had winch/boom ratings of
3 ton single boom, twin 3 ton each, twin 6 ton each and twin 10 ton each.
