Hello All-
Thanks to everyone who posted or sent a reply to my 47 or 51 mystery!
I received quite an education... over the last few days! My son and I are
learning a lot. Thanks!
BTW... several of you indicated that the metal flaps over the vent windows
should only be found on the drivers side door, but the truck in question
actually has them on both sides.
Also... the gas tank on this truck is inside the cab and not under the bed.
Most of the information seems to reveal the truck to be more of a 51 than a
47, but... no matter what... I'm falling in love with both trucks and will
most likely bring them both to their new home (mine!) as soon as I can clear
out enough room for them in my garage!
Thanks again & again-

Everyone asks:
Why the 58 in the e-mail address if the truck is a 59?
Our only reply:
When we bought it they told us it was a 58. When we
discovered it was really a 59... it was too late to
change the address! Plus, someday we might buy a 58 too! :-)
