Is it possible to weld with a wire fed welder without using flux cored or a gas setup?(solid core wire) Is this possible and what are the drawbacks to this if it is possible. I have seen other welders that are wire fed but do not have capabilities for mig welding. I have a mig welder and was wondering if it was OK to practice without the shielding gas. I have the .30 solid core wire in it. Thanks for the help, Ed Solis oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
