Have a friend working on a 56 GMC and he installed a 350 and using the original
transmission-He is trying to use the original steering column with the original
shift linkage ---Here is a small blurb from his e-mail. If anyone overcame this
problem--please respond..wayne
The lever or plate that is at the end of the shifter
shaft on the steering column that the tran linkage hooks to hits the header,
it also hit the stock manifold. Is there away to over come this ??
