I'd like to make a suggestion to all the people trying to determine whether their VIN is correct. First, consult the original Chevy specs on body VIN. Second, verify the engine number with the Chevy specs. You can also verify the transmission and rear axle numbers with the Chevy specs for each particular year. Don't assume that the after-market books are correct as far as the numbers go. I have mistakes as far as the correct numbers listed in the after-market sources. Randy |
