Greg thanks for taking over the list, I think it will be extremely useful in
finding members with the same car and being able to ask questions to them.
Pleas send me the list in Excel 2003. I look forward to seeing both of you
and your Lotus Coupe on Saturday.
Andy

Subject: Re: [Nobbc] Car List
Hello NOBBC'ers,
As Clif has told you, he has decided he would like to pass on the car
list, now that he's done all the hard work. I think it was very cool
that Clif as a relatively new member volunteered to jump right in and do
something like this, particularly because I personally didn't anticipate
the interest that was generated by our regular participants. Well, done,
Clif, and thank you for your efforts. Unfortunately, you're now stained
with the mark of the "active member", so you are going to get hit up for
more contributions in the future!
At Clif's request, I massaged the Excel table a little, and have made
the a few refinements; I've locked the two top rows, and put the names
flush left, along with a few other things that should enhance
readability. For anyone who still wants a copy, I can provide it in two
versions; either 1997-2003 or 2007, or as a PDF for those without Excel.
For those who have already received a copy from Clif and have
corrections or changes to make, send them directly to me at
gtwincams@gmail.com and I'll take care of it. Need a copy? Email me and
I'll send you the current version.
Ron - do you have any objection to members flogging items for sale on
the list? We've never come up with a consensus on this, but I defer to
you to as moderator. Currently, a few members have posted emails about
what they want to sell, however I could also expand on Clif's "car for
sale" information by adding "parts for sale", or simply creating a new
list just for Member's cars and parts for sale. I'm happy to regularly
maintain and update the list with anything members would want to post,
however adding that info to the table would only be useful if a new
version was made available on a regular basis, which could also be done
easily. This would be a good way for members to keep track of what other
members are selling at a glance, rather than going back through old
emails, etc. What do you all think?
Cheers,
Greg Tatarian
