Dick Anderson tipped me off on the cars coming thru Calistoga. I saw
some of them, and it was quite a sight. Alfas, Corvettes, Jags, etc.
etc. Each car was stunning. These are the toys of the Big
Boys. It was raining, and many of them had tops down. Did not look
like fun to me!
You might want to try to see the cars in Sonoma at the end of the
event if you are interested.
The 2010 California Mille marks the 20th annual tour of California,
which will begin April 25th on Nob Hill. The re-creation of the
original Mille Miglia, an Italian road race, has been touring through

Francisco for the last 20 years with the objective of traveling off
the beaten path, discovering quaint little towns, experiencing the
best dining and touring on the California Coast. On Sunday, April
25th seventy historic race cars will arrive at Nob Hill from England,
Ireland, Switzerland, Columbia, Italy and a dozen American states to
take part in the historic journey.
A free car show introducing the cars and drivers to the public will
take place on Nob Hill from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on April 25th. The
following morning, April 26th, the race will begin with all
participating cars heading towards California Highway 1 north. The
group will traverse back roads and pass through small towns on their
way to

The historic tour concludes in Sonoma on Thursday, April 29th with a
free car show and a chance to meet the drivers and talk to them about
their travels. The final car show will take place at the Lodge at
Sonoma on Broadway between Leveroni and Napa Road at 4:00 pm.
